Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha believes defenders double up on him in a bid to nullify his threat, especially in the absence of Yannick Bolasie. After an impressive start to this campaign, Alan Pardews men have fallen away in recent weeks, and are without a league win in seven games, stretching back to mid-December.Goals have been in short supply, with the Eagles having found the net just twice in that seven-game winless run. Zaha finds the net against Stoke in the FA Cup Bolasies injury lay-off has been detrimental to their plight and, in an interview with Soccer Saturday, Zaha believes that Bolasies absence has meant opponents have been able to focus on just him, rather than the potent pair.Me and Yannick [Bolasie] give teams a hard time on both wings, Zaha said. But now, teams tend to double up just on me, because I am the only outball sometimes - the only one who will take people on - so it has been hard without him. Hell be back soon, so well be back to doing what we do.The manager has not changed my game. He has just added to it with the defensive side really, and showed me how important it is. Me blocking a full-backs cross can win us the game. Jamie Redknapp joins Ed Chamberlin to preview Saturdays 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League It is important as me crossing the ball for a winner. In attack, he has just told me to do what I do.The Eagles form has seen them drop into the bottom half of the Premier League table, with doubts emerging over whether lack of firepower could see them dragged into a relegation battle. The arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor will aid their cause, and with some other talented players in the ranks, Zaha is convinced the club will turn things around. We just need to keep faith really. Adebayor has come in, and he has got goals in him, Zaha said. I am not scared about anything, and I am sure we will start scoring goals soon enough. We just need to keep faith really. Adebayor has come in, and he has got goals in him. Wilfired Zaha I spoke to him [Adebayor] and he is a nice guy. He trained with us and as soon as he touched the ball, I could see the quality that he has, and I am looking forward to playing with him.The thing I appreciate most about the gaffer [Pardew] is that he gives me loads of feedback. He wont hold back if I am not doing well and I dont mind that. Id rather be told if I am not doing well. The injuries havent helped. But thats why I am not really scared, as the players we have, the quality that is here, we can get back up there.Watch the full interview on Soccer Saturday, live on Sky Sports News HQ, from 12pmAlso See:Palace videoPalace fixturesPalace statsGet a free £10 betNike Just Do It Pas Cher Home .J. He sure does remember beating him though. Over a decade and a half since, his favourite student Ramkumar Ramanathan was set to play the same foe here on Friday, before Nadal chose to pull out.Ramkumar didnt win against Feliciano Lopez, the Spaniard fielded in place of Nadal. But he was impressive: his will, grit and game belying his rankings.Lopez is a tough player, dominant with his serve, which shows whats kept him in business as a top-50 player for 15 years now, Balcells told ESPN from Teia, Spain. Ramkumar was rushing through some parts of the match but hes young and has a lot of time ahead of him. He won some good points and this is another step forward in his progress. Lopez is ranked 170-odd places above Ramkumar.Balcells, 41, was part of the Spanish team that won the Davis Cup final against Australia in 2000. Nadal was also on that team. Some time later, Balcells beat a bristling, teenaged Nadal in straight sets at a Challenger event in Sevilla. He was just 16 or 17 years old then and had already beaten a couple of the top 10 players, he said. I still recall our scoreline: 6,4, 6-4. After the match, his uncle Toni walked up to me and congratulated me before saying that his nephew was young and not used to facing a serve-and-volley player, which was the reason why I won. It was funny. Balcells was one of the few exponents of the serve and volley style of play in Spain during his time.ddddddddddddRamkumar, who is from Chennai, has a strong Spanish connection, having trained at the much-vaunted Sanchez-Casal Tennis Academy in Barcelona since 2010. A big serve is one of the reed-thin 21-year-olds foremost strengths. Ramkumar has a good serve but he still has to get better at his volleys and baseline shots, said Balcells, whos associated with wetennisbcn, a tennis club in Teia.Rueing not being able to travel to New Delhi for the Davis Cup tie to watch his ward take on the Spaniards, the former world No. 57 had already told Ramkumar that the experience and the learning from such matches would trump the results. I told him to enjoy such moments on the court, Balcells said. These experiences will stay with him.Unwilling to be brushed aside as a pushover, Ramkumar put up a feisty show and managing to wrest a set from Lopez, the world No. 26. I did the best I could, Ramkumar said after the match. It wasnt enough though.Four years ago Emilio Sanchez, former world No. 7 and founder of the Sanchez-Casal Tennis Academy, had talked up Ramkumar: Remember his name, this kid from India will make news one day. Balcells believes Sanchez was right on the money. ' ' '
