Its difficult to assess a team logo without some surrounding context regarding how that logo will fit into the teams uniforms and larger visual program. With that caveat in mind, here are some preliminary thoughts on the Vegas Golden Knights primary logo, which was revealed Tuesday night:The basic illustration of a knights helmet is fine, although it looks somewhat familiar. Several teams use a similar concept, especially at the college level, where schools such as Michigan State and San Jose State -- both of whose teams are called the Spartans -- have logos featuring helmets similar to what the Golden Knights are using. As a result, the design feels a bit collegiate. The negative space in the helmet forms a V, for Vegas -- a simple but effective design maneuver. The color scheme -- black, steel gray and gold, with white trim -- is strong. Red, while not used in the logo, is also listed as an official team color and will presumably be used for accenting, which should work well.Overall, its hard to imagine anyone claiming that this logo design belongs in the upper echelon of NHL team brands. But its the kind of bold, straightforward design that tends to function well as the crest on a hockey jersey. So far, so good.Brandon Allen Jersey . Weve got two more games at home; we want to win both the games for our fans, really, he said.Weve got to give them something to cheer about. Its important they go away seeing some results, that they can say these boys are having a crack. The man in the stands wants to see the guys have a dip for a longer period of time. Thats really it - thats what this weeks about.Offsetting the loss of Schache is the inclusion of ruckman Stef Martin and forward Michael Close for Brisbane.Carlton, who bookies have as warm favourites, have lost Andrew Walker to retirement but regain Liam Jones and David Cuningham.[url=http://s
